Poinformowano także o przedłużeniu produkcji na 8. sezon i powrocie jednej z bardzo ważnych postaci. Już w drugiej połowie 7. serii do roli powróci Kim Dickens. Ponownie wcieli się w Madison Clark. Bohaterkę tą ostatni raz widzieliśmy w 4. sezonie, kiedy to pełna poświęcenia została na stadionie pełnym Szwendaczy. Jej śmierci jednak nie widzieliśmy na ekranie, bowiem nigdy nie została ona pokazana. Z tego powodu fani już od dawna chcieli powrotu tej postaci. Jak widać ich prośby zostały wysłuchane.
